What is Virtual Design?
Virtual Design is an interior design service offered online. With this service, we are able to offer a simple, affordable alternative to our luxury full-service interior design whether you are in the Jacksonville, Florida area or out of town. Our luxury virtual design packages are perfect for clients who want design direction and designer expertise from an award winning designer, but don’t mind doing a little leg work to prepare and implement the project themselves. With virtual design, you can tackle the design of your home one space at a time, at your own pace, and as your budget allows! Our virtual design plans include all the tools you’ll need to create a well-designed and luxurious space that fits you and your unique style. Check out the information below to learn more.
HOW IT WORKS
First, we send you a client questionnaire to gather information about your project requirements, your design goals and what you envision for your space. The process is simple! We gather information from you to learn what you envision for your space and then we create a beautiful and functional custom design plan for you that serves as a guide to create the space yourself. You will need to take measurements and photographs of your space for us to utilize during the design. If needed, we may also gather additional information.
Next, we create a beautiful design for your room. We include color concepts, as well as furniture and finish selections that fit the functional and aesthetic needs of your space. At this time you will receive a 2-D design rendering.
Lastly, we organize all our design ideas, tools, and tips into a comprehensive virtual design plan that will serve as a guide to implement the design yourself! You will receive a mood board and a list with links to order all decor, furnishings and items needed for your design including a color palette and/or paint colors.
WHAT TO EXPECT
All virtual design packages include a complete design plan with the design tools (per the package listings above), a personal note from our designer, and a to-do list with designer tips to help you get started implementing the design!
ONLINE
With the exception of the first phone consultation, our virtual design services and correspondence for your project, will be conducted online from the comfort of your own home. This means no need to schedule in-person appointments, showroom visits, etc.
FURNISHINGS AND DECOR
All furnishings, decor, and home design items included in our virtual design plans are readily available to you at affordable pricing using national retailers open to the public, making it really simple for you to implement the virtual design plan yourself.
TIMELINE
With the streamlined virtual design process, once we start the design of your project, you'll have a complete virtual design plan within 7 to 10 days. We also provide 2 weeks of email support as you get started!
